Could I use a few timelines after conversion?

Postby Dmitry Puchkoff » March 28th, 2017, 4:34 am

Hi guys.

I faced with an issue.
Forexample, I'd like to animate a pet. I create animation of its head (let's say rotation) on the main timeline and animate its eyes inside of the head movieclip. So, if I stop the head rotation on the main timeline in some position, I expect to see the eyes still blink. SWF works in such way, but GAF does not.
The cause have been explained in docs:

"You can create animations with any internal structure and with any depth of nesting. During the conversion, animations are optimized and merged into a single time line."

As I can see from the quote above I have no ability to use of a few timelines in my application after conversion. But I see the GAF player determines and plays correctly SWF timelines using nested conversion mode.
Maybe I've understood something not very well?
Could I do something like my example above or not?

Thank you.

Any thoughts? That's great! :(
Excuse me for my stupid questions. I think you may remove this topic from the forum. Thanks to all.

Hi Dmitry,

if you still have this problem, please send us a sample project where you have this issue and we'll investigate it for you.
Also, what version of the Starling library do you use?

Thanks.
